Rather than drying up like Solyndra after the government subsidies got pulled, Tesla instead made a brilliant move by using their best tech to produce the highest performing car on earth, and unlike the mythical Chinese hyper plane, the new Tesla is not vapor ware.
Despite being expensive at $200,000, when you consider the fact that this Tesla solidly beats cars that cost a million plus, it is an absolute bargain. And in the case of Tesla, it was easy to do by simply adding a more powerful motor, and re-programming the traction control. BRILLIANT MOVE, ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT, Tesla will without a doubt survive losing the subsidy.

Country singer releases 'Take a Knee, My Ass' to counter NFL national anthem protests
Country music singer Neal McCoy takes a jab at former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and others who protested the national anthem by taking a knee in his newest single he debuted last week.The song, "Take a Knee, My Ass (I Won't Take a Knee)," was performed in front of a small audience on Oct. 8th and shared online as a Facebook Live video, which has since gone viral.
When I see someone on TV take their stand by bending their knee, whether it be on astro turf or grass," the lyrics say. "I think of those whose freedom was not free, and I say: 'Take a knee - my ass!'
The song, which McCoy notes was written by a friend of his, cites the armed forces as a reason why he proudly stands for the national anthem.
"I've been on 15 USO tours," McCoy explained to reporters. "I've entertained our troops in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, and all over the world."
My comment: I have never heard of him, but he must be famous with 15 USO tours, which Marilyn Monroe also went on.
Keystone pipeline critics may have been right.
I spoke in favor of the Keystone pipeline. But now it appears to be a piece of Chinese trash. Yesterday it leaked 250,000 gallons of oil. Workers only noticed when the oil started coming to the surface, which means the flow sensors did not detect jack. Since the flow meters should have detected a leak of five barrels or less, we might be looking at sabotage. It is extremely improbable so much escaped any other way. There have been other leaks of over 10,000 gallons already that I never heard about until now that should have also been detected a lot sooner and were not.The bottom line then is that either the Keystone pipeline is a piece of trash just like skeptics said it was going to be while it was going in, or it is getting sabotaged, complete with computer systems tampering.
I still say that pipelines like this have to exist for the good of the nation, 210,000 gallons leaked underground is not really a catastrophe but it certainly is not good. The main point here is that the pipeline is probably garbage, just like it's skeptics said. The fact the parts were made in China probably has a lot to do with that, the old American stuff has been in service for many decades without a large number of similar problems. The only way out of the chinese garbage scenario is intentional sabotage by very skilled people to make sure the flow sensors did not trigger an alert.
This was published in a CNN report so it could be fake news, but it probably is not, it is risky to lie about things like this. UPDATE: All the major networks have this now, it is not just CNN spew.
Tesla has announced a new car that accelerates like a bullet bike

My comments:
The high accelleration, which would substantially exceed 1 G (1.446 g's to be exact) would be possible with front and rear motors that can be run far beyond their rating for short periods of time and a road with very good traction.The 620 mile range would be made possible by new battery technology developed a year ago, which would have taken some time to hit manufacturing. The year 2020 timeline sounds about right. The 620 mile range would, however, be completely dependent upon driving like a grandma that is beyond the grave, and never ever even considering tapping even a small percent of the car's potential. I'd bet you could easily deplete that nice long range down to 80 miles or so if you had any fun.
At any rate, my expectations of an electric car I'd actually buy would be a 400 mile highway range, that could go as low as 320 on certain highways but no lower. If the new Tesla did not go 620 miles as advertised but could be easily coaxed to a 500 mile range without sacrificing too much I'd be OK with that, and accept occasional shorter ranges depending on the road.
My biggest issue with electric cars is how would you shut them off if you got hijacked? It would not be as easy as putting a switch on the fuel pump or ignition. In the case of an electric car similar to a Tesla, you'd be dealing with 600 or more volts and lots and lots of amps. That won't be controled via a switch on the dashboard without installing a heavy duty industrial contactor that the switch controlled somewhere out of sight. That would be way beyond what the average joe could handle.At any rate, here is a portion of Musks' brag about this new car -

I'd say it is plausible, but wait and see. The biggest issue will be traction control, 1.46 g's does not happen easily, it is not just an issue of dropping a bunch of horsepower and hoping for the best.

An additional side note here -In one sense, converting everyone over to electric cars can easily represent a huge loss of control by the elite. Many people say all they are trying to do is limit the range people can drive. I disagree - the range limits really will be overcome, and when they are, you'll start seeing everyday cheap cars that can be charged with solar panels that have much smaller batteries than this Tesla has, and very good range. When that happens, roof top mounted panels will handle most power requirements for most people, and an array at home could easily finish the job. That would represent an enormous loss of control for the elite. The true ultimate bug out vehicle would have a couple kilowatts of solar on the roof, and NEVER need to return to a gas station.
Another important side note here -
This is a very smart move by Musk, who has lost the government subsidies that Tesla was depending on. What could possibly be a better way to survive than producing a car that really is the world's top performer, and making it electric? No one is going to care that it can't outrun a Bugatti when it can beat a Bugatti solidly at speeds below 250 MPH. It will all boil down to people saying "when will I ever go 250+ MPH anyway? Two London publications on the same day, Thursday, Nov. 17, shed unusual light on the next chapter in Saud royal history, as well as on the hitherto semi-clandestine ties between Riyadh and Jerusalem.
The London Daily Mail, quoting "a source close to the Saudi royal family" reported that King Salman, 91, intends to give up the throne next week and name his son, Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, 32 as his successor. The king will reportedly confine himself to ceremonial duties like the queen of England, retaining only the title of "Custodian of the Holy Shrines."
Near two weeks ago, Prince Muhammad ordered 500 notables, including princes, former ministers and business leaders detained on charges of corruption. The British newspaper carried the first photos of the distinguished detainees sleeping on mattresses on the floor of the five-star Carlton Ritz Riyadh.

He is turning to Israel and its armed forces, not just as the only reliable military and intelligence force capable of handling the opening shots of the war on Iran, but out of their shared perception of Iran as the biggest threat to the Middle East. He moreover no longer expects active and determined participation in fighting Iran from the US under President Donald Trump. On this last point, Saudi Arabia and Israel are divided.

Thanks to the past eight years of Obama, the government assistance programs in this country have gotten completely out of control. We now have lazy, selfish bums walking around with EBT cards buying steak, caviar, and luxury items, all because of other peoples' hard work.
One welfare queen however, has been infuriating millions of Americans both left and right alike-in the following video, she films herself going to Red Lobster and purchasing some live lobster, worth around $45 per pound. She then proceeds to say it disgusts her, and brag about how she's going to feed it to her dog.
"I just bought it for the fucking video, I don't want this shit disgusts me. I used to like lobster, but I can't eat it now-I went and I bought a fucking live lobster with my food stamps. Why are you allowed to buy a live lobster with your food stamps? So I picked out the biggest, fucking juiciest one," she says.
Then, she goes on to brag about how the cashier likely had to work "an hour and a fuckin' half" to pay for that lobster she just bought. "This is an hour and a half of her time, for me to buy this so I can make a fuckin’ YouTube video," she adds. "These peoples' taxes paid for this."

FBI Uranium One secret witness name revealed
William D. Campbell, a lobbyist, confirmed to Reuters he is the informant who will testify and provide documents to Congress about the Obama Administration's 2010 approval of the sale of Uranium One, a Canadian company with uranium mines in the United States, to Russia's Rosatom.
My comment: Someone released the name so he can be killed. He needs a full time body guard and full time supervison and should be in a safe house. But most likely he will not get that, because he listens to CNN and has never heard of the Clinton body count.
I doubt this witness will get a chance to speak. Watch for a new dead guy soon, whatever way it happens.
